The first hospital accredited by the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards in Southeast Asia, Sunway Medical Centre is consistently working to ensure that its services are comprehensive and of international standard. Its new Cancer and Radiosurgery Centre and Nuclear Medicine Centre are slated to open in the second half of this year, bringing the latest in cancer treatment to patients in this region. Sunway Medical Centre is also committed to working with communities and organizations to improve healthcare services beyond its campus, winning the Best Healthcare Provider Award at the HR Vendors of the Year Awards last year. The hospital will also be building a molecular lab, in a step towards collaborating with world-class universities such as Cambridge and Oxford to pursue cutting-edge approaches in areas such as precision medicine.
