SunMed Dietetics & Nutrition Services offers a comprehensive range of medical nutrition therapies, individual diet counselling, nutrition and lifestyle counseling, and preventive programmes that contributes towards a better health, wellbeing, productivity and lifestyle.

Our dietitians provide personalised, practical advice and supports to all in- and out-patients and the community in a professional environment. Our competent diet technicians assisted in monitoring in-patients’ meals especially those on a therapeutic diet by ensuring nutritional therapy is carried out before diet intervention by dieticians is required.

Lau Wai Hong (Celeste)

Celeste Lau received her credential in BSc. (Hons) Degree in Nutrition from UKM and further pursues her Master in Dietetics & Nutrition from Flinders University of South Australia.
She is a member of Malaysian Dietitians’ Association. She is currently appointed as MDA Allied Health Act Advisory Committee 2020-2022. She is one of the committee members in Medical Nutrition Guidelines for Cancer in Adults, Malaysia.
She conducts talks, workshops and weight management program to public and corporate, she also conducted talks to doctors, nurses and other allied health professionals. Besides writing journals to some health magazines and newspapers, she also being interviewed by radio and TV stations on health related issues. She is currently the head of department in Dietetics & Nutrition Services, Sunway Medical Centre.
Despite management works, her special interest is in children’s health and nutrition in chronic diseases.
Tan Jie Sin (Jessie)

Tan Jie Sin received her credential in Bachelor of Science Degree in Dietetics from University Putra Malaysia. She is currently an active member of Malaysian Dietitians’ Association (MDA).
Jie Sin started her career as a clinical dietitian in a government hospital in Klang. She then joined a private hospital in Klang Valley prior joining Sunway Medical Centre, working across different disciplines.
She is a practicing dietitian who involves in providing diet counselling, medical nutrition therapy and nutrition support for patients with different diseases.
She conducts health talks to corporate and public, executes educational programs for food services staffs and nurses. She also involved in writing health e-newsletter.
She has strong interests in managing patients in cancer, obesity and cardiac disease.
Saw Bee Suan
Senior Dietitian, Dietetics
Bachelor of Health Sciences Dietetics (Hons), USM
Bee Suan received her credential in Bachelor of Health Science in Dietetics from University Science Malaysia. She is currently an active member of the Malaysian Dietitians’ Association (MDA) and PENSMA.
In her current role as Senior Dietitian at Sunway Medical Centre, she establish, monitor and review the standard nutrition practice guidelines and protocols at Sunway Medical Centre.
She is a practicing dietitian as well who involves in nutrition support, medical nutrition therapy or provides diet counselling, to all age group, from children to elderly, with different health issues and diseases.
She is also a public speakers for corporate companies and communities, panelist for local magazines and radio station.
Bee Suan’s special interest is in managing patients in eating disorder, peads nutrition and cancer care.
Tia Yu En
Dietitian, Dietetics

Tia Yu En received her credential in Bachelor of Science (Hons) Degree in Dietetics with Nutrition from International Medical University. She is currently an active member of the Malaysian Dietitians’ Association (MDA).
Currently, as a clinical dietitian at Sunway Medical Centre, she provides diet counselling and nutrition education. This includes intervention for patients with weight problem, diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease, cancer or patients require nutrition support such as enteral and parenteral nutrition.
Her special interest includes medical nutrition therapy for patients with critical and chronic diseases eg. diabetes & kidney disease.
Rozanna M. Rosly
Lead Dietitian, Dietetics
Bachelor of Science Dietetics (Hons), Leeds Metropolitan University, United Kingdom.
Rozanna received her credential in Bachelor of Science (Honours) Dietetics from Leeds Metropolitan University (now Leeds Beckett University), United Kingdom. She obtained certification in Sports Nutrition from Sports Dietitians Australia and certification in Breastfeeding Promotion and Support from The National Lactation Centre, Ministry of Health.
She was past honorary secretary of the Malaysian Dietitians’ Association (MDA) and currently one of the organizing social committee member for MDA’s National conferences. She is also a member of The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (USA), Sports Dietitians Australia and lifetime member of the Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition Society of Malaysia (PENSMA).
Rozanna is one of the expert panelists for The Identification and Management of Feeding Difficulties (IMFeD), in which their research was published in peer-reviewed journals and they presented key findings at international and national scientific meetings.
Rozanna started her career as a clinical dietitian in Sunway Medical Centre. She headed dietetic services at a private hospital in Brunei Darussalam, a private University Specialist Centre and a private women’s and Children’s hospital prior to re-joining Sunway Medical Centre; working across different disciplines particularly inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel disease (IBS), malnutrition, cancer, elderly and picky eating/ faltering growth in both children and adolescents.
She also conducts public and corporate health talks and develops educational material and recipe. She is a regular contributor for newspapers, online news portals and magazines, and also conducts TV and radio interviews related to different nutritional health issues.
Her special interest is in elderly nutrition, critical care, inflammatory disorders, IBS and growth issues in pediatrics.
Bee Swen Yeen

Bee Swen Yeen graduated from International Medical University with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics with Nutrition. She had completed a research on haemodialysis patient who were at risk of malnutrition which subsequently stirred up her interest in chronic kidney disease and dialysis patients. She is an active member of Malaysia Dietitians’ Association (MDA).
“In seeking solution for illness, both medical treatment and nutrition care share a common goal which is to conquer illnesses”. Holding on to this belief, she is serving the various needs of patients' nutritional requirements such as oral and tube feeding plus parenteral nutrition across all categories of patient, either as in- or outpatient. Equally important is the nutritional counselling for patients who are constantly seeking to improve their health.
She has special interest in diabetes, chronic kidney disease and critically ill patients
Mashitah Sha An Ali

Mashitah received her credential in Bachelor of Dietetics from University Kebangsaan Malaysia. She is currently a member of the Malaysian Dietitians’ Association (MDA).
She started her career as a foodservice dietitian at a government hospital at Kuala Lumpur where she involves in menu planning and monitoring food quality. She also involves in providing training to f&b staffs to improve their understanding on diet at hospital. She is passionate in promoting healthy lifestyle and by providing practical advice about food and nutrition.
She has special interest is in cancer nutrition and critical care.
Goh Yu Shaine

Goh Yu Shaine is a dietitian who obtained her degree in dietetics from International Medical University, Malaysia. She is also an active member of the Malaysian Dietitian’s Association.
Yu Shaine is clinically trained in providing medical nutrition therapy, nutrition education and counselling to patients with varying medical conditions such as weight management, diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease and more. In Sunway Medical Centre, she also plays a role in ensuring adequate nutritional delivery for those who require enteral or parenteral nutrition. Her passions include improving nutritional literacy amongst the public and conveying digestible information to those who seek nutritional advice.
Her special interests include cancer nutrition, geriatric nutrition, and critical care.
Wan Li Yin
Senior Dietitian, Dietetics
BSc (Hons) Dietetics, UKM, MHSc Clinical Nutrition, UKM
Wan Li Yin is a qualified is a qualified Dietitian with Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Dietetics and Master of Health Science in Clinical Nutrition from UKM. Li Yin had obtained ServeSafe Certification in food service management and attended A Practical Approach to Hazards Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) program.
She is also an active member of the Malaysian Dietitian’s Association.
She is currently a practicing Dietitian, her passion is to assist patients to improve their health through diet and nutrition. In diet counselling, Li Yin shared the importance of nutrition, explained on how diet influenced the health and provided diet plan, advice, encouragement and support to her patients in their journey of healing. She also provides nutritional talks and had experience in community nutrition and tertiary education as a certified HRDF training and worked as an Uni lecturer before joining Sunmed.
she supervised the Food & Beverage team of the hospital to provide meals for in-patient meals and cafeteria. Also, she developed in-patient menus and provided therapeutic diets training to staff.
Shirley Seah Szu Ying
Dietitian, Dietetics
PhD in Paediatrics, UKM, Master of Nutrition & Dietetics, University of Sydney, Australia, BSc Food Science, University of Melbourne, Australia
Dr. Shirley received her Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Sydney in Australia. Thereafter, she obtained her PhD in Pediatrics from UKM, Malaysia, whereby she specialises in nutrition in preterm infants. She is also a member of Malaysian Dietitians’ Association.
Dr. Shirley has conducted clinical trials involving preterm infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). She has published in peer-reviewed journals and presented key findings from her clinical research at international and national scientific meetings. She is also the creator of the NUTRI-CAL NEONATAL, a digital growth tracking and energy nutrient calculator that assists health care professionals in their nutrition management of very low birth weight preterm infants in the NICU.
Dr. Shirley’s key interests are in neonatal nutrition, paediatrics nutrition and food allergies with food intolerances. She uses evidence based clinical practices to promote better health outcomes among neonates and children.
